Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using PhotoReducer at photoreducer.com, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site. These terms apply to all visitors and users, whether or not you create an account (there are no accounts).

What the service does

PhotoReducer offers free image tools for compressing, resizing, converting, and adjusting the DPI of your photos. Everything runs 100% in your browser using WebAssembly. Your images are never uploaded to any server: all processing happens on your own device, and we never see, store, or transmit your files.

Free use, no account needed

The tools are free, with no file limits and no watermarks, and they require no registration. We may change, update, or discontinue any tool at any time, with or without notice, as we improve the service. We do not offer refunds because there is nothing to pay for.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use PhotoReducer to infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights. You also agree not to automate access to the site, scrape its content, or interfere with its normal operation. We may suspend access for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these rules.

Your images belong to you

You keep full ownership of every image you process. We do not acquire any right to your photos, and because processing happens locally in your browser, we never see them. Once you close the page, your images are gone from our perspective: we simply never had them.

Our intellectual property

The text, design, code, and the PhotoReducer name and logo are our property and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the tools for your own purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the site, its content, or its branding without our prior written permission.

Advertising and third parties

PhotoReducer may display ads served by Google AdSense. Some of these ads use cookies and similar technologies to function. Details about which cookies are used and how you can manage them are described in our privacy policy at /privacy/. Please read that page to understand how advertising data is handled.

No warranties; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Results from compression, resizing, or conversion depend on your files and browser, and we cannot guarantee any specific outcome or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Florida.
