Frequently asked questions
How is the image cropped?
The photo is scaled to fill the target size and cropped from the center, so nothing looks stretched or distorted.
Which format should I download?
JPG works everywhere and is the default. PNG is available if you need lossless output, and WebP if the destination supports it.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser with WebAssembly — your image never leaves your device, which makes this safe even for ID photos and documents.
